Name: Finlay Lamond
Job Description: #SMPerth Intern
Sciences or humanities? A constant tug of war between two paradoxing subjects of study defined what he believed would be one of the hardest decisions Finlay ever had to undertake when he graduated high school.
But little did he know the role that social media and digital marketing would bring to the table. A game-changer causing upheaval and forced evolution of every industry meant that he was never really at a cross-roads; he could pursue whatever he wanted. A constant fascination with learning and a desire to multi-skill has defined Finlay’s approach towards everything.
Sport has always been an important part of his life and he is now half-way through an undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at Curtin University and a Cert IV in Programming through OpenColleges, but has no intention to limit his learning there.
This led him to apply to intern at #SMPerth, a fantastic opportunity he never could have believed he could have had he not maintained this attitude.
