Do You Know Your Best Time To Post?

Timing is everything.

When are you posting to social media?

When it comes to posting your content on social media, the “when” is equally as important as the “what”. If you’re not seeing the levels of engagement you’d like on your posts, you need to look at the time and day you’re posting. You also need to consider the length of your posts.

Let’s take a look at three tips for when to post to social media »

Try and schedule your posts when people aren’t busy.

We’ve all been there: you get to work on Monday, turn on your computer, and find your inbox flooded. Your social media content is far less likely to succeed if you’re constantly posting when people don’t have time for it.

Tip: Wednesdays are the best days to post for higher engagement.

Schedule fun content for the weekends.

While social media usage is high on weekdays, explore posting on weekends. People are more likely to be browsing social networks at their own pace,  taking in the content they’re viewing and have more time to make purchasing decisions. If you are going to post on weekdays, have fun with it! The posts can show off more of your brand personality or strike a different tone than the weekday posts.

Always be testing.

As social media continues to expand and the habits of your followers are ever-changing, experiment by trying different posting times on your feeds than the times you already know work well.

What works for some may not work for you. Try experimenting with some different days and times, but make sure you track everything.
