We don’t get many incredible forums and conferences over in the West so when we see one worth sharing, well, here you go…

The Marketing Disrupted: CX & Innovation Forum 2017 is designed to give the WA marketing industry an action-packed insight into how brands are driving innovation in marketing, technology, engagement and creativity. Held at PCEC on 26 October attendees will also be provided local perspectives on the issues and opportunities for marketers as customers, markets and how the way we approach our day to day work is being disrupted at scale.

Before lunch, the content-packed program will cover: Augmented / Virtual Reality (AR/VR) in brand storytelling and customer experience with the award-winning ‘Inside Anfield’ initiative created by Octagon and Milkmoney for Standard Chartered and Liverpool FC; an insight into technology and innovation trends from global media giant Facebook; and a panel discussion – with our partners The Communications Council WA – on the hot topics facing the industry, featuring agency and client perspectives from local marketing leaders.

All this will be followed by a luncheon keynote from Trisca Scott-Branagan, Executive Director Marketing at Deakin University, who will give a fascinating, hands-on insight into their marketing transformation journey and the need to shift marketing’s focus from digital to process disruption, being agile and taking advantage of real-time marketing opportunities.
