A Few Words: The Stables Bar is a fresh-faced venue, housed in one of Perth’s original horse stables. Upon walking through a set of old iron gates at the entrance to the lane way on Hay Street, customers are immediately transported away from the bustle of central Perth, to a landscaped oasis with a totally different environment. The relaxed yet stylish atmosphere is designed to give customers the opportunity to enjoy an inviting casual meeting, eating and socialising venue.
With a commitment to innovative food and seasonal produce, The Stables Bar is a refreshing take on modern Australian dining. Some favourites include:
- Pork sliders with pickled zucchini, red cabbage and chipotle mayonnaise
- Pan fried potato gnocchi with beetroot, whipped feta and basil butter
- The signature Stables Wagon Wheel, a playful interpretation of the old schoolyard favourite.
Our Head Chef, Ben Keal, trained in the South of France and has worked in restaurants throughout the UK. Ben arrived in Perth following stints as Head Chef at Melbourne restaurants The City Wine Shop and European.
